FIREWORKS UPDATE: Hello, thank you all for participating in our survey to see who would be in favor or against having the fireworks on Friday, September 4th, 2026.

I completely understand the pros and cons of everyone’s replies and remarks.

The outcome of the vote was a little over 70% of the people said yes they want to have the fireworks.

I do feel bad for the 30% of you that said no and have other plans or do not have your boats in the water. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.

The Friday, September 4th date was the only available date the fireworks company had when we postponed them in July.

I realize the Saturday, September 5th date would have been better but it was not an option.

There will be no rain date, so if it is a washout on the 4th you 30% will get your wish and we’ll have 1 hell of a show next July.

Let’s all hope for a beautiful night and celebrate our country’s 250th and our own 25th fireworks display.

Thank you all for understanding!
